Antique Box Locks add a historic look to old and new furniture. They are actual copies of vintage styles. Keyhole is all you see when looking at front of box.

These box locks are a half mortise style with a special strike. This strike attaches to under side of lift-lid. When lid is down, strike engages with lock. However, to secure lid, use key to turn mechanism to locked position. For more info, see our page on replacing half mortise locks.
