Revival Bail Pullsare copies of original handles used during the early 20th century. Manufacturers from this era extensively used this style handle on Mahogany and Cherry sets of furniture. These designs became known as the Colonial Revival handles. The signature band, found on the center of the bail handle, was a favorite during this time period.
Revival bail pulls are brass. They are made with a bail handle and two rosettes. Bail handle swings from posts, in middle of rosettes. The brass has an antique finish. It is darkened to look old.
Boring: distance between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole.
If replacing handles: replacement-handle-boring must match actual boring measurement in drawer.
Overall Size: width and height of handle at widest point.
Attach Bail Pulls
Place one rosette with post, on drawer front at mounting hole. Insert screw, from drawer interior, through mounting hole and screw into back of post (do-not tighten).
Insert bail in mounted post. Add second rosette with post, to other end of bail.
Insert 2nd screw, from drawer interior, through 2nd mounting hole and screw into back of second rosette with post.
Once together and in place, tighten screws.
Bail Handles are secured using 8-32 machine screws. Length supplied is determined by manufacturer. While supplied screw length is generally useful, occasionally a different size is required. Please let us know if you need a specific length. To determine the correct size: measure wood thickness and add 1/4".
