Offset Colonial H Hinges are a classic style. They were popular during the 17th and early 18th centuries. These hinges are beautifully made with solid brass construction. Use on corner cupboards, high style country furniture and antique cabinets. Average furniture doors use one pair of hinges, tall doors may require 1-1/2 pairs.
Install Colonial H Hinges by surface mounting to exterior of cabinet door. Use on 3/8" offset for lipped overlay doors. Offset Hinges are substantially made of solid brass with beveled edges and counter sunk holes. Once installed, complete hinge is visible.
Hinges are near identical to the old broken ones I replaced
These were for the lower doors on a pre-civil war Dutch Cupboard from Lancaster County, PA.
(I removed the clear coating and "aged" them with vinegar and salt to get them to match the upper hinges still on the piece.)
They look terrific!
the solid brass offset H hinges were a great find and we had excellent service from Paxton
Beautiful hinges! Used them on an antique corner cupboard. The quality and appearance are excellent.
