Electric Oil Lamp Adapter is used when restoring vintage and antique lamps. This handy part serves two purposes. It converts oil lamps to electric as burner is replaced by adapter.  Also, rather than using a glass chimney it enables oil lamps to support a harp type lampshade.  

Use on oil lamps with a #2 collar. The collar opening is 1-3/16" ID. Conversion is achieved by simply unscrewing oil lamp burner and screwing electric oil lamp adapter into collar. No wiring is necessary. Lamp wire exits from side of socket cap. Lamp socket is a 3-way turn knob type. It provides three levels of light.  Use with a 3-way bulb. Includes small brass finial.

Easy to Install
