Swivel Hinges provide support and maneuverability to small to mid-size mirrors, chair backs and items where an angled adjustment is needed. Hinges have a unique tight-lock friction disc that firmly holds movable part in place. These hinges have narrow mounting leaves which is useful when mounting on thin frames. Great for office type chairs as back can be automatically adjust to the proper angle for comfort and posture.*

Swivel Hinges are intentionally made tight, so that the joint will hold in position once installed. If initially they seem very tight simply attach a pair of pliers to each side and gently move leaves in opposite directions, back and forth a few times. This releases the joint. Once installed the attached parts provide leverage making it easier to adjust hinge. Use 2 hinges to attach and achieve adjustment.
