Glass Knob Latch Sets offer a solid feel yet light, transparent look. Sparkly octagonal glass knobs have authentic star-burst centers. Use on interior doors.

Privacy type for bedroom and bathroom doors needing to lock. Install in old or new doors with standard pre-drilled 2-1/8" holes. Latch is high quality, tubular style with spring latch. Use on right and left hand doors. Click on diagram pictures left to view larger.

One door requires one set, set includes: 2 door knobs with spindle, 2 rosettes, tubular latch, alignment piece for latch, mounting screws, face plate, full lip strike plate and installation directions.

Latch Set Installation  Privacy style installation is pictured. Privacy latch set is designed so the privacy function is released when door is closing (unless there is too much space between door and jamb). When the privacy function is activated from the inside, the outside door knob will not open the door. Turning the inside door knob will release the privacy pin and open the door. Or you can pull privacy pin, from inside room, to unlock.

If door is locked Keep the Allen key. For considerations of the safety of small children, it is possible to insert a narrow bent object - like the enclosed allen key or a paper clip - through the privacy hole from the outside, and push the privacy lock.
