Orders to the 48 contiguous US states typically ship from our Maryland warehouse in 1 – 3 business days

Ground delivery usually takes 3-7 business days depending upon your location. During the holidays, shipping times may take longer than normal. If an item is out-of-stock you will be emailed with an expected shipping date. Orders ship Monday – Friday with the exception of holidays. Once your order ships, you will be provided an email detailing delivery information and a tracking number.

  • Orders normally leave our warehouse in 1 – 3 business days

  • If your order is being delivered to a location that is not secure, it is the customers responsibility, to request additional handling when placing your order.

  • Ground delivery usually takes 3-5 business days to contiguous US depending upon your location. We ship out of Maryland

  • Ground Shipping is Free on Orders over $99 to the 48 contiguous states, USA

  • Low $6.95 flat-rate shipping for orders less than $99 to the 48 contiguous states, USA

  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages that the carrier has delivered.

We offer bare-bones Standard Shipping rates. As a result orders are shipped, at our discretion, USPS or UPS.

Please note: if your order is being delivered to a location where the mail is not secure, it is the customers responsibility, to request additional handling when placing your order.

Most orders in small boxes are shipped through the post office while many orders in larger boxes are typically shipped UPS. Please contact us if you prefer having your order shipped expedited or by a specific carrier. In these instances orders must be: packed, weighed and measured to determine shipping cost.

Delivery

Packages are delivered at carrier's discretion. In the majority of locations the carrier will leave the package if no one is there to receive it. However if the carrier deems it necessary they may require a signature for delivery. In this instance, if no one is available to receive the order, the driver should leave a notice providing additional information concerning delivery.

  • Standard shipping estimates 2-7 business days en route, depending on your location and the carrier. These are estimate arrival dates and are not guaranteed. Please notify us if you do-not receive your order within a reasonable time.
  • Transit time does not include weekends, holidays, weather delays and other unforeseen circumstances that may impact delivery time.
  • In stock orders are promptly shipped within 1-2 business days.
  • If needed: special instructions can be added to the label
  • In our goal to strive for non-wasteful shipping means, we package with recycled boxes, peanuts and newspaper whenever possible.

Damaged Product

All orders are carefully packaged by experienced packers. Care is taken to ensure your order will be delivered in the correct condition. We ship a lot of glass and fragile items. The vast majority of these products arrive safely. However occasionally breakage occurs.

Should damage occur the following information must be received before your order can be re-shipped.

  • Ask carrier for a notation of damage.
  • Notify us by email: support@paxtonhardware.com
  • Hold damaged products and all boxes - packaging materials.
  • Photograph damaged product and all boxes - packaging material.
  • Email us pictures of the damaged product and packaging.

All merchandise, boxes and any packing material must be held for carrier inspection. If these items are disposed of a claim cannot be filed and paid.


Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Non-contiguous US states

Orders shipping to Noncontiguous US States and territories such as Hawaii, Alaska and other non-contiguous areas have increased shipping costs due to escalated USPS and UPS shipping rates.

  • Shipping Options will be emailed for approval.
  • Location, box size & weight determine shipping rate.
  • Order can be canceled if shipping cost is unacceptable.
  • Order will ship once you respond to the “Invoice to Complete Your Purchase” email

Air Shipping

Rush Delivery Orders receive additional shipping fees. Air rates are determined by delivery location, box size and weight.

Please note: air rates are determined by carrier and are expensive.

  • To calculate the air shipping rate we need: your order and delivery address
  • Orders can either be placed on line with a request for air shipping in the comment screen or they can be phoned in to us.
  • Before providing air shipping rates: your order will need to be packed and weighed, as air shipping rates are determined by delivery location, box size and weight
  • Air shipping options will be emailed for approval
  • Order can be canceled if shipping is unacceptable
  • Order will ship once you respond to the “Invoice to Complete Your Purchase” email
