Federal Style Drawer Pulls
Antique Hepplewhite Handles are reproduced using original manufacturing methods. The results are replica antique drawer pulls that look and feel like the originals. They are oval handles with a harmonious concentric design. Federal handles, like these, were originally used on Hepplewhite furniture in the late 1700's to early 1800's.

These reproduction Hepplewhite handles remain popular for their authenticity, appearance and quality. Handles are brass with a darkened antique finish. They are produce using original methods. Backplate is stamped with crisp detail. Posts and handle are permanently attached to backplate.
Finish is antique. It is darkened to look old. The antique finish is hand done. As it is manually applied tiny spots or slight imperfections may be visible upon close inspection. This results in a natural and more authentic appearance.
Measure & Install Antique Hepplewhite Handles
- Boring: distance between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole.
- If replacing handles: replacement-handle-boring must match actual boring measurement in drawer.
- Overall Size: width and height of handle at widest point.
Attach Hepplewhite Handles
- Handle attaches to drawer with two machine screws
- Position handle on drawer front
- Insert screws through mounting holes, from drawer interior and screw into posts
- Thread size of machine screws is generally 8-32. Length supplied is determined by manufacturer. While supplied screw length is generally useful, occasionally a different size is required. Please let us know if you need a specific length. To determine the correct size: measure wood thickness and add 1/4".
