If replacing drawer handles, check distance between holes

Maple Leaf Antique Drawer Handles have a distinct style. Backplate mimics the Maple leaf of a favorite North American tree. These are reproductions of original Chippendale drawer pulls from the late 1700's. The popularity of these drawer handles was again revived in the 1920's during the Colonial Revival era.

These well made drawer pulls are solid brass. The aged finish imparts the look of old brass. The antique finish is hand applied and may vary from one to the next. This slight variations in color provides a natural and more authentic appearance. Posts and swan neck bail are permanently attached to backplate. These reproduction antique drawer pulls are an excellent choice for both 18th century and 20th century colonial revival furniture.

Measure Antique Drawer Pulls

  • Boring: distance between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole.
  • If replacing handles: replacement-handle-boring must match actual boring measurement in drawer.
  • Overall Size: width and height of handle at widest point.

Attach Antique Chippendale Handles

  • Handle attaches to drawer with two machine screws
  • Position handle on drawer front
  • Insert screws through mounting holes, from drawer interior and screw into posts
  • Thread size of machine screws is generally 8-32. Length supplied is determined by manufacturer. While supplied screw length is generally useful, occasionally a different size is required. Please let us know if you need a specific length. To determine the correct size: measure wood thickness and add 1/4".
