Maple Leaf Antique Chippendale Keyhole Plate is a small batwing style from the late 1700's. Authentic shaped escutcheon was used on Colonial Revival: "Governor Winthrop desks", mahogany dining room furniture and bedroom sets.
Keyhole plate is brass. Finish is antique. It is darkened to look old. The antique finish is hand applied and may vary from one to the next. This slight variations in color provides a natural and more authentic appearance. Attach with 2 pins.
