Fine Chair Cane is a natural material used to weave chair seats. It is made by cutting the bark of a tropical vine into thin, long strands. Initially it is a blond color, overtime it will age to a caramel shade.
Stranded Chair Cane is sold by the hank. A hank is a bundle of long stranded lengths of cane. One hank is approximately 1000' of multiple long lengths. 16' of binding cane, to finish the outer edge of chair, is included with each hank of chair cane
Measure Chair Cane
- Use on chairs with holes around perimeter of seat, drilled at regular intervals.
- Select cane by: hole size and distance between holes.
- Fine Chair Cane is used on chairs with 3/16" diameter holes, that have 5/8" between holes.
