Oval Hepplewhite Brasses are a classic drawer pull used on Federal Furniture. This oval shape was popular in the late 18th and early 19th century. These antique style drawer handles have a distinctive star-burst pattern with radiating light-rays. Outside edge of pulls have decorative beading. Use oval drawer pulls on Hepplewhite furniture.
Hepplewhite drawer pulls are made of brass. They are reproduced to look like original late 18th century handles. Backplate is stamped with embossed starburst design. The polished finish will age in time.
Attaching Hepplewhite Pulls
- Screw a thru-bolt into back, of each post.
- From drawer front: slip one bolt-end through each mounting hole.
- Hang bail from posts
- Press handle flush with drawer front.
- Screw nuts on to thru-bolts and tighten to secure.
