Screw-on Brass Balls are used as a decorative accent or as ball feet. Easy to use, threaded end screws directly into wood. Use on clocks, boxes, small display cases, trays, lamps, chair backs and more.
The 1" diameter is a great size when used as brass ball feet. Typically 3-4 are used per application to insure item is stable. Slight leveling can be achieved by loosening or tightening the depth screw is inserted into the wood. Large items or items with multiple legs may require more feet.
Screw-on Balls are solid, not stamped. They are raw, unfinished brass. Over time they will darken. If a long lasting bright and shiny finish is desired brass must be polished and then lacquered.
