Antique Embossed Victorian Escutcheons complement vintage furniture from the late 1800's - early 1900's. They were frequently used on Victorian and Golden oak furniture. Escutcheons are stamped brass with sharp detail. Finish is darkened to look old. The antique finish is hand applied and may vary from one to the next. This slight variations in color provides a natural and more authentic appearance. Surface mounts on drawer fronts.
Install - Surface Mount Victorian Escutcheon
- Locate best placement for keyhole on furniture front. Make sure keyhole is aligned correctly with key pin in lock. Be sure hole in key barrel is lined up correctly to comfortably go over pin in lock mechanism.
- Mark location of both attachment pins. Be sure they are level with each other.
- Drill small pilot hole at attachment pin locations.
- Hold keyhole cover in place. Press each pin in hole and then tap into place.
