Paw Feet for Curved Furniture Legs
Antique Claw Feet are the darling of the Federal period. Originally used by Duncan Phyfe on curved table and sofa legs. These brass paw feet were then popularizes again during the Colonial Revival era. Use on furniture with curved legs that terminate into feet. This decorative brass covering protects foot from abrasion.

These paw feet are stamped brass. The stamping is sharp and crisp emphasizing the realistic design. Finish is antique. It is darkened to look old. Antique finishes are hand applied and can vary in darkness. For a consistent color, we suggest ordering all needed pieces at once.
Install
- Claw foot should fit down snugly, onto furniture foot.
- If foot-size differs from claw foot, it may be necessary to reshape furniture foot.
- Test fit, once foot is correctly shaped.
- If minor adjustments are still needed, carefully bend brass a slight amount to conform to furniture foot.
- Once fit is correct, attach with 2 mounting pins.
If restoring furniture: legs may need alteration to accommodate claw feet.
