Paw Feet for Curved Furniture Legs

Antique Claw Feet are the darling of the Federal period, originally used by Duncan Phyfe on curved table and sofa legs. These brass paw feet were then popularizes again during the Colonial Revival era. These stamped brass paw feet have sharp, crisp detail emphasizing this realistic design. Finish is antique, it is darkened to look old.

Install Duncan Phyfe style Feet

• Claw foot should fit down snugly, onto furniture foot.
• If foot-size differs from claw foot, it may be necessary to reshape furniture foot.
• Test fit, once foot is correctly shaped.
• If minor adjustments are still needed, carefully bend brass a slight amount to conform to furniture foot.
• Once fit is correct, attach with 2 mounting pins.

If restoring furniture: legs may need alteration to accommodate claw feet.
