    Paw Feet for Curved Furniture Legs

    Antique Claw Foot is a popular style used on Duncan Phyfe, Colonial Revival and Empire furniture. Use on a curved furniture leg that terminates into a foot. Claw foot caps furniture-foot, protecting it from abrasion.

    All measurements are interior dimensions:

    • Height: 1-1/4"
    • Top Width: 1-1/4"
    • Bottom Width: 1-1/4"
    • Bottom Length: 1-3/4"

    Claw foot should be just slightly larger than size of furniture leg.Measure Claw Foot for Furniture Leg

    Paw feet are stamped brass. The stamping is sharp and crisp emphasizing claw design. Finish is antique. It is darkened to look old. Antique finishes are hand applied and can vary in darkness. For a consistent color, we suggest ordering all needed pieces at once.

    Install

    • Claw foot should fit down snugly, onto furniture foot.
    • If foot-size differs from claw foot, it may be necessary to reshape furniture foot. 
    • Test fit, once foot is correctly shaped.
    • If minor adjustments are still needed, carefully bend brass a slight amount to conform to furniture foot.
    • Once fit is correct, attach with 2 mounting pins.

    If restoring furniture: legs may need alteration to accommodate claw feet.
