Paw Foot for Curved Furniture Leg
Antique Claw Foot is a popular style used on Duncan Phyfe, Colonial Revival and Empire furniture. This decorative foot caps the ending of curved furniture legs. Paw feet are stamped brass with sharp and crisp detail emphasizing claw design. Finish is antique, darkened to look old.

Claw foot should be just slightly larger than size of furniture leg. |
Install Duncan Phyfe Style Feet
- Claw foot should fit down snugly, onto furniture foot.
- If foot-size differs from claw foot, it may be necessary to reshape furniture foot.
- Test fit, once foot is correctly shaped.
- If minor adjustments are still needed, carefully bend brass a slight amount to conform to furniture foot.
- Once fit is correct, attach with 2 mounting pins.
If restoring furniture: legs may need alteration to accommodate claw feet.
