Refund Policy
At Paxton Hardware, our goal is to deliver authentic, high-quality products that stand the test of time. Every item is inspected before shipment to ensure accuracy and satisfaction. However, if a product does not meet your needs, we will do our best to make it right.
1. Returns
- Return Window: You may return any item for any reason within 60 days of receipt for a full merchandise refund. Items received after 60 days will not be accepted.

Condition:
- Items must be unused, in their original condition, and packaged securely.
- Hardware must be individually wrapped to avoid scratches; scratched hardware may be subject to a 50% restocking fee or refusal.
- Fabric, Parchment & Mica Lamp Shades must remain wrapped in the original protective cellophane.
- Damaged/Incomplete/Incorrect Orders: If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or inaccurate, please notify us within 4 days of receipt. We will correct the issue or issue a full refund promptly.
2. Refused or Incorrect Address Deliveries

Refused Orders:
- You are responsible for the original shipping charge.
- If shipped via UPS, you are also responsible for return shipping fees.

Incorrect Address:
- You are responsible for shipping costs to the incorrect address.
- Additional shipping charges will apply to resend the order to the correct address.
3. Refunds
- Processing: Refunds are issued within 5 days after we receive and inspect the returned merchandise.
- Method: Refunds will be applied to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Shipping Costs: Non-refundable unless you received incorrect or damaged products.
- Partial/No Refund: May apply if the returned item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts. Paxton Hardware will determine restocking fees or refusal on a case-by-case basis.

Obtain Return Instructions
- We will supply you with the correct return address and any specific instructions needed for a smooth return.

Pack Your Return
- Wrap each item securely (you may reuse the original box if it’s in good condition).
- Include proof of purchase (invoice/packing slip) and your contact details (name, address, email, phone). A brief description of why you’re returning the item is helpful.

Ship with Tracking
- You are responsible for return shipping costs if you didn't opt into Checkout+. You can purchase your return label in the return portal. If you opted into Checkout+, a return label will be provided, free of charge.

6. Additional Notes
- Inspection: We carefully inspect all returns. Items not in original condition may be subject to restocking fees or refusal.
- Shipping Labels: We do not provide prepaid return labels.
- Damaged Shipments: If items arrive damaged or broken, please contact us immediately with photos and details so we can resolve the issue quickly.
We make every effort to ship your order in a timely manner. Once the carrier has the package, they are in total control of the delivery. Additional support from the carrier is not available to us if the tracking does not show movement, or if the package is traveling in the wrong direction. We are required to wait 20 shipping days before proceeding with a replacement order.
