Oil Lamp Shade Holders support glass lampshades. They are used on lighting with an oil or electric lamp-burner. These shade holders have a wide diameter ring in center of holder. This large ring size is necessary, as the shade ring must slip over oil or electric burner and fit snugly down onto burner-ridge. To choose holder size, measure interior ring diameter and shade fitter. If you do not have shade holder, measure burner ridge diameter, where holder will sit once in place.
