Cast iron shelf brackets originated during the Victorian Revival Period. Traditionally they were used with wood shelves. This large size shelf bracket provides a strong, heavy option for bigger shelves. ;They are both decorative and functional. Add a custom shelf above doorways, in kitchens and where ever needed.

Install Support Brackets for Shelving:

• Mount iron brackets with either long or short arm, supporting the shelf.
• Number of brackets used depends on: length of shelf and weight it will support.
• Support-arm should be approximately 75% the depth of shelf.
• Attach shelf to brackets, before attaching to wall.
• When mounting, screw support bracket to wall studs using longer length screws. For optimal support use a bracket at each wall stud.
