Large Mica Floor Lampshades are a great complement to antique and contemporary lamps. The crystal-like mica has a natural, irregular appearance that subtly reflects light. When lit, amber mica produces a welcoming, soft glow.

Mica refers to a group of minerals. These silicate minerals are heat-resistant, do not conduct electricity and appear in various colors. The sheet mica is made by laminating mica flakes - crystals together with shellac or resin.
Large mica floor lampshades have proportions suitable on big table lamps and floor lamps. They are made of mica panels and a rust resistant metal frame. Each is trimmed in a dark brown braid reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts era. Frame offers two fitter options: v-notches to sit on a reflector lampshade and a center ring to fit onto harp.
