    High End Furniture Wheels - Plate Type with Stem

    Brass Furniture Casters are a reproduction style used on many periods of furniture. They are sized to fit chairs and small tables. Use on furniture to provide mobility.

    Measure Caster for Furniture
    • Wheel Diameter: 1"
    • Wheel Width: 1/2"
    • Raises Furniture: 1-1/2"
    • Plate Diameter: 1-1/8" x 1/8" Thick
    • Stem: 1/4" Diameter x 1" Height
    • Load capacity: 200 pounds per caster

    Brass, Antique Finish

    These premium brass furniture casters are beautifully made. Each is solid brass crafted from substantial castings.  Finish is a shiny polished finish. They are not-lacquered, appearance will soften and age over time. Caster swivels at swivel-joint between fork and leg plate.

    Measure - Install

    Load Capacity, caster strength and stability is directly related to correct installation. If a caster is incorrectly installed it will-not be strong or serviceable.

    • Spiral-threaded drive stem must fit tightly into drilled hole, in furniture leg, with as little play as possible.
    • Round caster-plate adds additional support under furniture leg. Attach with 4 wood screws.

    solid and beautiful

    The set I ordered first (small) are lovely and well machined, but a bit small aesthetically for the furniture piece I designed, so I ordered the next size up (medium), which looked better proportionately. Great high-quality castors. A bit on the shiny side, perhaps not so appropriate to replace on a period piece.
