Furniture Wheels with Stem & Grip Neck Sleeve

Rubber Wheel Casters are a  large size raising furniture 2-1/4". Old-fashioned design adds a vintage look to furniture. Rubber wheel is accommodating to many floor surfaces. Use on tables, butcher blocks and small - mid size kitchen islands. When used on chairs heavier weights may constrain movement.  Some find it is best to roll chair when vacant.

If updating vintage furniture, replace all casters. This insures uniform height, style & appearance.

Rubber wheel casters have a steel assembly. Caster includes socket-sleeve for mounting. Ball bearing swivel assembly enables caster to swivel independently of caster fork. 

Install Casters with Grip Sleeves

Load Capacity, caster strength and stability is directly related to correct installation.

If a caster is incorrectly installed it will-not be strong or serviceable.

• Drill hole: 3/8" x 1 5/8"  in bottom of furniture leg. Insert socket-sleeve. Gently tap in place.
• Some older furniture has socket-sleeve, from previous caster, still in place. Replacement wood wheel casters may or may-not snap into old sleeves. Old sleeves can be removed and replaced with new sleeves. 
• Once socket-sleeve is in place: push caster-stem into sleeve until it snaps into place.
