A Harp Lamp Shade is used on most Table Lamps and an occasional Floor Lamp

  • To use this style, the lamp must have a harp shade holder. A harp is a upside down U-shaped metal support with a small threaded post at top.
  • Lamp shades of this type have a washer-like ring fitter in top center of shade with a 7/16" diameter hole.
  • The lamp harp height determines placement of lamp shade. It affects the lamp's overall proportions.  A recommended harp height is provided under the size tab for each shade.  When ordering it is best to check your lamp's harp size as a different height may be optimal. Harps are available in a variety of sizes and most are easily changed if the shade needs to be raised or lowered to enhance the lamp's appearance. 
  • The washer like fitter in top of shade slips over the threaded post on top of harp. It is then secured by a lamp finial that screws down onto treaded post.

Description

Eggshell Scallop Bell Lamp Shades are a decorative option for small table lamps. When lit this lamp shade produces a soft natural hue. Use on lamps with a harp. Use on lamps with a harp.
Material & Finish

These eggshell silk lamp shades are made of fine silk-like Shantung. Each is finely tailored having self-piping around top - bottom and down sides. They are fully lined with satin to reflect light. These beautifully made scalloped bell lamp shades have a matching braided piping top and bottom. If more than one shade is needed please order together to insure matching fabric dye lots.

Made on a rust resistant metal frame with a 1/2" ring in the center. This ring slips over harp post and sits on shade rest. It is secured by a lamp finial.
