Brass Chest Lifts are often seen on the sides / ends of chests, boxes and dressers. These authentically styled lifting handles were used on Campaign furniture.Handles are mounted on each side of chest at a comfortable height to lift from. Historically brass chest lifts were used to carry furniture. Although these handles are exact replicas, brass is a naturally soft metal therefore we recommend lifting furniture from underneath. A special built in stop keeps handles from lifting more than 90 degrees.

A Very Good Value

I have 2 customers that wanted very nice “Solid Brass” handles. So my go to place for high quality hardware is Paxton Hardware. These handles are high quality pieces!

I had the handles in 2 days after I ordered them on line. Paxton people are great people to work with and very good customer service.

Want high quality? Go to Paxton hardware!

We feel very lucky to have found this replacement for a broken antique chest lift. Amazingly it's an almost perfect match!

furniture lifting handles

good customer service - shipped quickly. product quality is good - no seams or pits on casting, stamped escutcheons are crisp. only negative is that the screws are too small - larger heads are more more historically accurate because screws on handles that were meant to bear weight were heftier.
