Medium Brass Claw Feet add interest to curved furniture legs. Frequently used on tables, this classic design was much-used by Duncan Phyfe during the Federal era. This style was then revived again in the early 20th century.
Our brass claw feet are stamped brass with sharp crisp detail. The finish is polished. It is not lacquered and will darken over time. Stamped brass claw feet offer the advantage of being slightly flexible to conform to furniture legs.
All measurements should be considered when replacing claw feet.
Measure carefully as claw foot will fit many but not all furniture legs.
Claw foot must be relatively close in size to furniture foot.
Interior measurements provided to enable accurate comparison with furniture foot.
Brass claw foot should be just slightly-larger than furniture foot.
Claw foot should fit down snugly, onto furniture foot.
If foot-size differs from claw foot, it may be necessary to reshape furniture foot.
Test fit, once foot is correctly shaped.
If minor adjustments are still needed, carefully bend brass a slight amount to conform to furniture foot.
Once fit is correct, attach with 2 mounting pins.
