Brass Door Keyhole Cover

Brass Door Keyhole Cover has a simple design, and oval shape that complements of many periods. This versatile escutcheon is suitable for both cabinet and full size doors.  The large keyhole opening is helpful when using locks with larger size keys.

• Width: 1-1/8"
• Height: 1-5/8"
• Key-bit Height must be less than: 3/4"

This oval escutcheon is forged brass with rolled edges. The polished finish is not lacquered and will age over time.

Install - Surface Mount Escutcheon 

• Locate best placement for keyhole on furniture front. Make sure keyhole is aligned correctly with key pin in lock. Be sure hole in key barrel is lined up correctly to comfortably go over pin in lock mechanism.
• Mark location of both attachment pins. Be sure they are level with each other.
• Drill small pilot hole at attachment pin locations.
• Hold keyhole cover in place. Press each pin in hole and then tap into place.
