Furniture Joint Stays

Furniture Joint Stays support desk lids that are lifted up or chest lids that are folded down. Use on traditional slant front desks such as the Governor Winthrop style and butler desks with vertical fronts. Or use on blanket chests and wood boxes. Not child proof. Positive lock in open position. Not intended to support heavy weight.

• Movable Side-piece: 5/8" x 1-1/4"

• Handed: includes left & right

These Joint Stays are sturdy and well made. They are solid brass provide both quality and an enduring elegance. Finish is polished, surface may have slight imperfections. 

Installation

• Pair includes a left and right side. 
• Attach one stay to each side of furniture interior.
• Attach jointed-foot to movable furniture part, such as lid.
• Attach side piece to side wall of furniture interior.
• Always drill pilot holes before using screws.
