Furniture Joint Stays support fold down or lift up applications They are seen on a variety of furniture types. Use on traditional slant front desks such as the Governor Winthrop style and butler desks with vertical fronts. These useful supports are also for lids which lift up such as blanket chests and wood boxes. Not child proof. Positive lock in open position. Not intended to support heavy weight.
These lid supports are sturdy and well made. They are solid cast brass providing both quality and an enduring elegance. Finish is polished. They are not lacquered and will age overtime.

- Attach jointed-foot to movable furniture part, such as lid.
- Attach side piece to side wall of furniture interior.
