Victorian Keyhole Covers add a decorative look to cabinet doors. They are seen on furniture from both Victorian and oak periods. The vertical shape is ideal on narrow door stiles around glass curios and china cabinets. Surface mount to door fronts.

This Victorian escutcheon is authentically reproduced in cast brass with an openwork design. The polished finish is not lacquered and will age over time.

Install

Install - Surface Mount Escutcheon

Locate best placement for keyhole on furniture front. Make sure keyhole is aligned correctly with key pin in lock. Be sure hole in key barrel is lined up correctly to comfortably go over pin in lock mechanism.
Mark location of both attachment pins. Be sure they are level with each other.
Drill small pilot hole at attachment pin locations.
Hold keyhole cover in place. Press each pin in hole and then tap into place.
