Adjustable Candle Sockets have a turn knob switch on side of socket providing easy on-off switch. Use on new or vintage lighting. When wiring, use included cardboard insulator to cover socket terminals. Cover socket and insulator with candle sleeve. Use with standard, Edison bulbs. Base is tapped 1/8 IP to fit standard 3/8" lamp pipe.
To install candle-sleeve: unscrew turn-knob from socket. Slip sleeve over socket with cardboard insulator. Measure turn-post location, remove sleeve, drill hole at measured location. Slide sleeve back onto socket with cardboard insulator. Adjust sleeve for turn-post to protrude thru candle cover, screw turn-knob back on to post.

- Turning lamp off will not protect you from electric shock.
