Install Antique Cabinet Knob and Backplate

  • Mounts from a single hole
  • To install: Insert machine screw from drawer or door interior, through single hole in wood, through backplate and screw into back of knob
  • To avoid scaring cabinet, always thread screw into knob - do not turn knob onto screw when tightening.
Description

This Antique Brass Sheraton Knob with matching backplate is a reproduction Federal period style. It offers the renowned intricate design this era is known for.  This classic is ideal on both antique furniture and new cabinetry, elevating the visual appeal of any piece. In addition, the backplate is both historically accurate and protects wood surfaces from wear and damage, extending the finish on furniture. It is named for it's designer, Thomas Sheraton, a famous furniture maker of the late 18th century.
Material & Finish

These authentically reproduced knobs are stamped brass with a hollow interior like the originals. They display a crisp design this era is known for. The added antique finish gives them an aged appearance. This darkened color is ideal on vintage furniture and light colored woods.
