In addition, the backplate is both historically accurate and protects wood surfaces from wear and damage, extending the finish on furniture. It is named for it's designer, Thomas Sheraton, a famous furniture maker of the late 18th century.

Material & Finish

These authentically reproduced knobs are stamped brass with a hollow interior like the originals. They display a crisp design this era is known for. The added antique finish gives them an aged appearance. This darkened color is ideal on vintage furniture and light colored woods.
