Install

Install brass rings on furniture legs on Wood Furniture

  • Must use with plate-type casters
  • Round furniture-legs must have a 1-1/8" diameter at base
  • Caster-plate must be 1-1/8" in diameter. If plate is smaller, it may slip thru the flange.  This would enable ring to drop down around caster.
  • Interior of caster ring has narrow flange around center
  • The flange acts as a stop between leg and caster to keep ring in correct position.
  • Place caster ring on furniture leg,
  • Attach caster 
  • Once installed bottom of caster plate will be flush with bottom of caster ring, as caster plate slips up inside ring to flange
Description

Brass Caster Rings add a supportive and decorative band to the end of furniture legs, helping to protect from chipping or splitting. These shallow caster sockets are great for antique restoration and reproductions.

This caster ring is solid cast brass with an embossed beaded design. The polished finish is not lacquered and will age overtime.
