Eye-catching Brass Shelf Column Supports are decorative turned pillars, with a curvilinear shape. These shelf components enhance the appearance and stability of wood shelving. They are very decorative, making them a great choice for display shelves. Use to attach two shelves together, one on top of the other with a 10-1/2" space in between. Typically, each shelf-corner has a column. Long shelves may need additional columns in center to prevent wood-shelf from sagging. Adding additional pillars can also provide a more balanced and proportional look on long shelves. Brass supports or brackets may be used, with these columns, as a means of supporting and attaching shelving-unit to wall.
This brass column is raw - unfinished solid brass, click "Finish" link above for more information on raw brass. It is very useful as it can be left natural, polished to a high sheen or colored. We have many customers who color the brass to complement their interiors.
