Chinese Chippendale Drawer Pulls are elegant openwork handles with an Oriental flair. Popular in the 18th century. The "chinoiserie" design adds fanciful style to drawer fronts. Pierced Chippendale handle highlights wood tones. They are common size with 3" distance between mounting holes.

If replacing drawer handles, check distance between holes

These pierced handles are brass with an unlacquered shiny finish. Over time the finish will lightly soften and darken. Swan neck handle is held by 2 posts.

Measure Antique Drawer Handles

• Boring: distance between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole.
• If replacing handles:  replacement-handle-boring must match actual boring measurement in drawer.
• Overall Size: width and height of handle at widest point.

Attaching Pierced Chippendale Handle

• Handle attaches to drawer with two machine screws
• Position handle on drawer front
• Insert screws through mounting holes, from drawer interior and screw into posts
• Thread size of machine screws is generally 8-32. Length supplied is determined by manufacturer. While supplied screw length is generally useful, occasionally a different size is required. Please let us know if you need a specific length. To determine the correct size: measure wood thickness and add 1/4".
