Vintage Glass Table Lamp
Antique Clear Glass Lamp, Green Jewel is a striking addition to home offices and dens. This reproduction lamp features a green glass shade favored in the 19th century for it's tranquil appearance. In addition, it was thought to encouraged creativity and concentration. This classic lamp offers a timeless appearance. The jewel-like green glass shade is cased glass. It is made by fusing two layers of glass together. Outer layer is green producing a pleasing green glow when lit, inner layer is white. Efficient for task lighting as white interior reflects light downward. Electric cord exits from burner, not base. Easy on-off switch is conveniently located on side of burner. Lamp base is "Princess Feather" pattern glass. Both lamp base and chimney are clear glass.
