Install

Install - Surface Mount Escutcheon 

  • Locate best placement for keyhole on furniture front. Make sure keyhole is aligned correctly with key pin in lock. Be sure hole in key barrel is lined up correctly to comfortably go over pin in lock mechanism.
  • Mark location of both attachment pins. Be sure they are level with each other.
  • Drill small pilot hole at attachment pin locations.
  • Hold keyhole cover in place. Press each pin in hole and then tap into place.
Description

Eastlake Keyhole Covers are a Victorian style.  Use on small or large drawer fronts. Strong horizontal axis is a distinguishing characteristic of the Eastlake-Victorian era.
Material & Finish

This keyhole cover is crafted from stamped brass. It has a polished finish. The brass is not lacquered and will age over time.
