Lamp Shade for Large Table Lamps and Reflector Floor Lamps

  • To use this style, the lamp must have a harp shade holder or a glass reflector to support shade. A Harp is a upside down U-shaped metal support with a small threaded post at top. A glass reflector shade has a large open top.
  • Lamp shades of this type have a washer-like ring fitter in top center of shade with a 7/16" diameter hole and
    V-notches in 3 arm frame at top of shade.
  • The shade sit on the lamp in one of two ways.
  • The washer like fitter in top of shade slips over the threaded post on top of harp. It is then secured by a lamp finial that screws down onto treaded post.
  • Or, the shade sits on a reflector shade. The v-notches in the top of the shade frame go on either side of shade wall to hold shade in place.

Description

Eggshell Silk Floor Lampshades are sizeable, designed for large table lamps and floor lamps. The subtle eggshell color adds sophistication to any interior, while maintaining a modest and timeless aesthetic. The vintage bell shape is versatile and complements a variety of lamp base styles. Shades are built with a large opening at top. Light is reflected upward and outward providing relaxed ambient lighting.

Support shade with either reflector shade or lamp harp:

  • Reflector: shade sits on Glass reflector. V-notches in top of shade-frame hold in place.
  • Harp: Center ring in top of shade-frame sits on top Lamp-Harp. It is then secured with a finial.
Material & Finish

These eggshell silk lamp shades are made of fine silk-like Shantung. The luminous white silk provides excellent light. Use for both task and room lighting. Each is finely tailored having self-piping around top - bottom and down sides. They are fully lined with satin to reflect light. These beautifully made scalloped bell lamp shades have a matching braided piping top and bottom. If more than one shade is needed please order together to insure matching fabric dye lots.

This shade is made on a metal frame that has a tripod like spider in of shade. The tripod arms have v-notches to be used with a reflector shade or it can be used with a harp as it also has a 1/2" ring in the center top of shade to fit onto a harp shade holder.
