This style is often seen on antique furniture, dry sinks, pie safes and jelly cupboards. Comfortable to grip, oval knob is used to open and secure cabinet doors. This antique latch looks old but functions like new.

This antique latch is cast iron with a spring-loaded catch mechanism. Surface is lightly textured finish adds to their rustic charm. Easy to install, surface mount to outside of cabinets, cupboards and furniture doors.
Install Iron Cabinet Catch
- For left and right hand doors - Surface mount
- Determine placement of catch, typically placed slightly above mid-height of door
- Catch mounts to cabinet door, strike to door stile. When mounting, catch and strike should each be set back 1/16" from respective edges. Result is 1/8" between the two pieces.
- Mark and drill pilot holes
- Mount surface catch
