Victorian Antique Drawer Pulls are a dramatic reproduction style for furniture of the late 1800's. Boldly embossed appearance is reminiscent of this exciting era. The oversize backplate does a great job of concealing marks left by previous hardware, on vintage furniture drawers. Additionally this backplate can be carefully-bent to fit some serpentine drawers.

Material & Finish

This drawer pull is very representative of the Victorian era with its stamped brass backplate featuring a medallion like center and rococo scrollwork. The brass handle is held by 2 brass-plated eyebolts. The finish is antique, it has been darkened to look old.

This handle can also be used on some serpentine drawer fronts as the backplate can be gently bent.

Install

Install Victorian Drawer Pulls

Handle attaches to drawer with two eye bolts.
To Install: start from drawer front.
Insert eyebolts through holes in rosettes, front to back. Eyebolt shank length is 1", if too short counter sink eyebolt-nut in wood.
Continue inserting post through holes in drawer, allowing posts to be loosely positioned.
Position handle and insert handle-ends into 2 eyebolts.
Push eyebolts with handle into place.
From drawer interior, screw nuts on bolts and tighten.

Paxton Hardware Ltd Had The Solution

Having cleaned up an antique commode for use in our newly renovated 1st floor project, I needed replacement hardware. Handles and pulls were missing, broken or totally unrecoverable on our found piece. When I searched for "antique handles and pulls", Paxton surfaced immediately. Now that the new hardware has been installed, I must say that the fit is spot on, and the aesthetics are perfect for our piece. Getting a Handle on things.

When I started my search for Cabinet pull handles I didn't know exactly what kind I wanted. Then I came across these and I thought they were absolutely beautiful. They were everything I hoped for both in design and the fact that they were flexible, even though they were brass, as some of the dawers on my unit are curved. Although I haven't yet finished my restoration project I have tried them on the unit and they look just great. Because I live in Ireland I had to wait just a little bit longer for them but receive them I did and they were worth waiting for. So I'll know where to go next time I have difficulty finding hardware of this kind. They really do justice to my little project.
