    Vintage Brass Detachable Hinges

    Lift-off Flag Hinges, for doors hinged on right, are a vintage style for furniture and cabinet doors. This traditional style was popular on wardrobes, armoires and knock-down furniture. It exhibits a unique lift off style. Simply lift door up and off hinge pin makes removing doors a snap. Both decorative and functional, hinges are solid brass with an antique finish. They provide a semi-concealed appearance. Only hinge knuckle with steeple tips is seen when cabinet door is closed.

    Great hinges

    I am a big fan of lift off hinges. These extruded hinges are great looking and unusually well made. A great find. Would prefer phillips over slotted screws. Would also be nice if guidance on door size and weight per hinge was given. Going to buy more of these for future planned projects.

    Thank you for your comments. Slotted screws are provided as these are historically accurate. The vast majority of antique reproduction hardware has not been officially tested to provide detailed specifications. The advantage of this hardware it has stood the test of time. These hinges were originally designed for armoirs and wardrobes.
