Oak Wood Keyhole Covers

Oak Keyhole Covers were commonly used in furniture during the Golden Oak and Victorian eras. These diamond-shaped wood escutcheons add a natural appearance to cabinet drawers and door fronts.

These keyhole covers are made of unfinished oak. They may need a light sanding before staining to match the rest of the piece.

Install - Surface Mount Escutcheon 

• Locate best placement for keyhole on furniture front. Make sure keyhole is aligned correctly with key pin in lock. Be sure hole in key barrel is lined up correctly to comfortably go over pin in lock mechanism.
• Mark location of both attachment pins. Be sure they are level with each other.
• Drill small pilot hole at attachment pin locations.
• Hold keyhole cover in place. Press each pin in hole and then tap into place.
