These are reproduction old style brass casters. Each is solid brass crafted from substantial castings. Finish is polished, it is not lacquered and will age over time. Old style brass casters are defined by the short and thick stem. Caster swivels at swivel-joint between fork and leg plate.
Load Capacity, caster strength and stability is directly related to correct installation. If a caster is incorrectly installed it will-not be strong or serviceable.
I am completely satisfied with these casters. I ordered them to replace missing casters for an American Empire Pillar and Scroll game table that I am restoring. Now that they are installed, the table has it's intended movability and functionality restored along with its intended appearance. I highly recommend Paxton's products.
I could not be more pleased with my purchase
Good casters & they work well.
Worked perfectly, easy to install and matched the original
Identical replacements for casters that were on a table build I believe in the late 1800"s . Only difference is these are nice shiny brass. Fit perfectly!
