Check harp or lamp shade extension to make sure it is sturdy and correctly in place. Add lamp shade. Screw finial down on 1/4-27 threaded post (7-32" outside diameter) at top of lamp harp.

This finial enhances glass or brass lamps. It easily screws down on top of harp to securely hold lampshade in place.
