Description

Reed Spline is a natural rattan material used with prewoven, pressed chair cane when replacing seats. It is hard yet bendable. Its flexibility, durability and V-shape make it ideal for tightly wedging sheet cane into the groove around the perimeter of the chair seat. Soak in water about 20 minutes before using.

Reed spline is crafted from the inner core of rattan vine. It is grown in regions of Southeast Asia. This material offers strength, durability, and flexibility, making it ideal for weaving applications and furniture restoration.
