Sheraton Keyhole Covers

Sheraton Keyhole Covers are authentically reproduced to match those of the Federal period. They were extensively used by Thomas Sheraton on his furniture designs. This style is defined by the square shape, raised profile and square cut corners.

• Key-bit Height must be less than: 5/8"

This Federal escutcheon is authentically reproduced in stamped brass with an embossed design and rolled edges. The polished finish is not lacquered and will age over time.

Install - Federal style Escutcheons

• Locate best placement for keyhole on furniture front. Make sure keyhole is aligned correctly with key pin in lock. Be sure hole in key barrel is lined up correctly to comfortably go over pin in lock mechanism.
• Mark location of both attachment pins. Be sure they are level with each other.
• Drill small pilot hole at attachment pin locations.
• Hold keyhole cover in place. Press each pin in hole and then tap into place.
