Install

Install Railing on Wood Surface: 

Attach to surface top with wood screws. Not for glass or stone.

  • Layout brass railing
  • Cut rods to appropriate lengths
  • Loosely assemble rods and posts
  • Mark screw location and drill necessary pilot holes for brass screws
  • Slip rods in place.;
  • Insert brass screws through holes in base of posts. Carefully screw them down into pre drilled holes.

Short Tipping Rail Center Posts are designed for situations requiring a minimal railing height. Crafted from premium materials, they deliver a clean, finished look. Central rod-hole allows rail to pass all the way through post. Rod inserts post just half-way thus the backside of post is smooth. Use with corner, center and wall mount posts depending on design.

This short rail post is raw unfinished, unlacquered - solid brass. These post can be polished and lacquered for a long lasting shine or left to age naturally. If preferred, the brass can be colored using various procedures. Brass coloring techniques and solutions are available online.
