Install

A Harp Lamp Shade is used on most Table Lamps and an occasional Floor Lamp

  • To use this style, the lamp must have a harp shade holder. A harp is a upside down U-shaped metal support with a small threaded post at top.
  • Lamp shades of this type have a washer-like ring fitter in top center of shade with a 7/16" diameter hole.
  • Harps are available in a variety of heights. Most are removable and easily switched  to a different size if the shade needs to be raised or lowered.
  • The washer like fitter in top of shade slips over the threaded post on top of harp. It is then secured by a lamp finial that screws down onto treaded post.

Description

Experience a touch of joy with our Song Bird Lampshades, perfect for enhancing table lamps. The hexagonal shape beautifully showcases birds on alternating panels. Each panel features the same pictorial depiction displaying the natural environment. With an overall white background, these lampshades provide optimal lighting for any task. They add a charming touch to any space. Handcrafted in America. Use on lamp with a harp to support shade.
Material & Finish

Our Parchment Lampshades are expertly crafted and very difficult to make. Each requires skillful craftsmanship, attention to detail and many hours of hand-work to create. The process starts by stabilizing the parchment paper with hard white buckram. This is a coarse linen lining that provides added strength to each lampshade panel. The tedious work is then attaching the parchment to a hand-crafted, rust resistant metal frame. This frame has a 1/2" ring in the center top of shade to fit onto a harp shade holder. Once shade is assembled gold binding is applied by hand, accenting the individual patterns displayed on each panel. Made in America
