Vintage Bail Handles

When replacing existing handles always check boring-measurement

  • 3" Boring
  • Overall Width: 4"
  • Overall Height: 2"
  • Rosettes: 7/8" diameter
  • Eyebolt Shank Length: 1"
  • Corresponding Keyhole Cover

How to measure an bail pull handle

These heavily rosette drawer pulls are cast brass, with a flat back. They includes: brass bail, two brass rosettes and two brass plated eyebolts/posts. Finish is antique. It is darkened to look old. The antique finish is hand applied and may vary from one to the next. This slight variations in color provides a natural and more authentic appearance. 3" size fits many drawers.

Measure Victorian Dresser Pulls

  • Boring is the space between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole. If changing handles, on existing drawers, this measurement is  crucial.
  • There is considerable more flexibility if installing handles on new furniture or cabinets. Mounting holes can be drilled where needed for new installations.
  • Overall Size reflects: width and height of handle at widest point. Ideally a balanced relationship between drawer handle and drawer is best.
Install Victorian Drawer Pulls
  • Handle attaches to drawer with two eye bolts.
  • To Install: start from drawer front.
  • Insert eyebolts through holes in rosettes, front to back. Eyebolt shank length is 1", if too short counter sink eyebolt-nut in wood.
  • Continue inserting post through holes in drawer, allowing posts to be loosely positioned.
  • Position handle and insert handle-ends into 2 eyebolts.
  • Push eyebolts with handle into place.
  • From drawer interior, screw nuts on bolts and tighten.

The drawer pulls worked perfectly, especially for an old dresser with a curved front. Turnaround was fast, and price was fair. Thanks!

Excellent

Shipping was fast, I called to fix a billing problem and they were very courteous and pleasant to deal with. Loved the product -- the eyelet screws for my bail handles were too short to go through my drawer, but that's all on me. Would order from these folks again for sure.
