Victorian Ball Shades complement many antique lamps from the late 19th century. The color combination is striking, made up of brown, yellow and pink. Although this mixture sounds unusual, it is beautiful, epitomizing the Victorian era. It When lit the ball shade produces a warm, soft glow.
Use on antique Gone With the Wind style lamps and brass Banquet lamps. Lamp must have a 4" ball-shade-holder to hold shade.
Victorian Ball Shades are blown glass. Each shade is hand painted with large pink roses. The background is a soft lemon yellow with a cocoa brown tint near bottom of shade. These fascinating ball shades are made in America.
Large ball shades are customarily used on tall banquet lamps and piano lamps. Smaller ruffled top ball shades are typically seen on shorter banquet lamps and some table lamps.
Was so sad when grandson accidently broke the original glass shade. But after receiving my new one, I have no regrets. I love it. it arrived quickly and safely and I felt at a fair price.
