Customizable Brass Railings are shelf components comprised of a decorative system of rod and posts. Use on bureaus, sideboards, kitchen cabinets, book shelves and bar backs. Six styles are available. Each style offers it's own unique appearance and attachment method. Before choosing a shelf component style it is best to determine how you will attach the railing to the surface it will be applied to. Once you have decided how the railing will be attached, then you can determine a style which meets that criteria.
Some railings simply mount with wood screws other require a hole from underneath. Rod and posts are sold separately. Post are available as centers, corners and ends. Rod is available in 36" & 72" lengths. Drawing a sketch of what you want the finished project to look like will help to determine the layout. This is necessary to calculate the number & type of posts and rod that are required for your project. Pair with brass shelf brackets for a cohesive appearance.
