Antique Chippendale Handles are a favorite style originally used in the late 1700's on colonial furniture. This maple leaf shape is indicative of Chippendale handles which are known for their bold backplates. This much liked design was revived in the 1920's. During the Colonial Revival Period, in America, they were used on "Governor Winthrop desks", mahogany dining room furniture and bedroom sets.

These well made drawer pulls are solid brass. The aged finish imparts the look of old brass. The antique finish is hand applied and may vary from one to the next. This slight variations in color provides a natural and more authentic appearance. Posts and swan neck bail are permanently attached to backplate. These reproduction antique drawer pulls are an excellent choice for both 18th century and 20th century colonial revival furniture.
Great service, arrived as promised and the product was very well built. They matched a cabinet built in the early 1900 almost perfectly, only I can tell the difference..
I just want to thank you for the amazing product and fast shipping! I spent all morning Saturday trying to find a matching drawer pull to my 100 year old chest of drawers which was passed down to me through my family. I looked at hundreds- and found yours as the closest match.
It was important that I keep the other existing pulls because they make a distinct sound I remember from my childhood so finding the perfect one was so important to me. I placed my order and only a few days later it’s here! It even has an almost perfect matching patina to the existing 7 drawer pulls. I can’t wait to finish re-doing the piece and having this 8th drawer pull to complete the project and bring it back to life.
Thank you for the quality and quick shipping- I will definitely recommend you to others!
These brass pulls are very high quality. The backplate and the pull itself are thicker than other designs, and the projection is more pronounced (a good thing) thanks to small bolsters behind the pull handle. Stems behind the backplate and the provided screws provide a secure and precise means of attaching the pull to the drawer front. I am building a reproduction of an 18th Newport lowboy, with hand-carved cabriole legs, ball-and-claw feet, and shell. I’ve been working on it off and in for several years and was certainly not going to skimp on the hardware. I looked at several websites, and these pulls from Paxton have the best design and construction by far.
Site is user-friendly. Easy to find exact item. Shipping faster than expected. Received my order in 2 days. Terrific, will recommend to all.
